Spiritual Practice is the Language of our Growth

Pillar #4 of the Liberation Lens

Hello my friends - thank you so much for tuning in again. We are building our the framework that I can The Liberation Lens - there are 8 pillars - and each episode takes one and introduces the concept.

Episode 1: Consciousness is Everything can be found here

Episode 2: Everyone is on the Path is here

Episode 3: Evolution is our Nature is here

There comes a moment in every spiritual journey when knowledge alone is not enough. We read the books, listen to the teachings, and nod along with deep understanding—but real transformation requires more than intellectual agreement. Growth happens through practice. It is in the daily commitment to spiritual discipline that we expand beyond old patterns, deepen our awareness, and align with a higher truth.

Spiritual practice is not about checking a box or adhering to rigid routines. It is about cultivating an ongoing relationship with the Divine, with ourselves, and with the unfolding process of life. Like an artist refining their craft or an athlete training their body, we become more of who we truly are by engaging in practices that shape our consciousness.

In the journey of personal transformation, spiritual practice serves as the language through which we communicate our deepest intentions and facilitate our growth. It’s not merely about engaging in rituals; it’s about cultivating a committed relationship with practices that align us with our highest selves. In The Liberation Lens, we explore five core practices: affirmations, affirmative prayer, meditation, forgiveness, and visioning.

  1. Affirmations: Shaping Our Reality

Our words wield immense power. Affirmations are positive statements that, when spoken consistently, begin to reshape our subconscious beliefs. By declaring truths such as, “I am whole, complete, and evolving in perfect time,” we align our thoughts with the reality we wish to manifest. This practice transforms our internal dialogue, paving the way for external change.

  1. Affirmative Prayer: Aligning with the Divine

Unlike traditional forms of prayer that may stem from a place of lack or pleading, affirmative prayer is a confident declaration of our oneness with the Divine. It’s about recognizing that the solutions we seek are already present within the universal consciousness. By affirming this truth, we shift our perspective from fear to faith, opening ourselves to the infinite possibilities that await us.

  1. Meditation: The Art of Deep Listening

In the stillness of meditation, we create space to listen—to our inner wisdom and to the whispers of the Divine. This practice centers us, reduces the noise of daily life, and enhances our awareness of the present moment. Whether through mindfulness, guided sessions, or mantra repetition, meditation becomes a sanctuary where we reconnect with our true essence.

  1. Forgiveness: Releasing the Weight

Holding onto resentment and past hurts anchors us to stagnant energy. Forgiveness is a radical act of liberation, freeing us from the chains of bitterness. It’s not about condoning harmful actions but about releasing their hold on our hearts. Through forgiveness, we reclaim our power and make room for healing and growth.

  1. Visioning: Seeing Beyond Our Limitations

Visioning is a practice of tuning into the divine blueprint for our lives. Inspired by the teachings of spiritual leaders like Michael Beckwith, it involves asking profound questions such as, “What is seeking to emerge in me?” This process moves us beyond limited thinking, allowing us to align with the highest vision for our existence.

Engaging consistently with these practices is not about achieving perfection but about fostering a deep, ongoing commitment to our spiritual journey. Through this dedication, we find that even in our darkest moments, life continues to expand—and so can we. What are your favorite spiritual practices? Share with me in the comments.
